eurodata at the Petrol Summit 2025: AI is changing accounting at filling stations

This year, our company took part actively in the renowned Petrol Summit conference, which traditionally unites experts from the areas of filling station operation, technology, safety and retail. The event offered a whole series of inspiring lectures and group discussions about the future of the industry – and we’re glad we were able to be there.

KODAP with a specialist talk on Artificial Intelligence

We’re especially proud of the fact that KODAP, our long-standing business partner, was among the speakers too.

Representing the company was Ondřej Sojka, head of IT at KODAP Liberec, with a presentation entitled:

‘Artificial Intelligence in accounting at filling stations: a future that is just being born’

In his talk, Ondřej Sojka explained how, since 2019, Artificial Intelligence has become an integral part of accounting processes step by step. He also examined global trends in the deployment of AI in the operation of filling stations – safety technologies and risk detection, analysis of customer behaviour, and retail optimisation and dynamic price formation. He explained how modern AI tools can provide instant feedback, generate meaningful analyses and data-based recommendations, and help operators to make important decisions. At the same time, he drew attention to the limitations of AI and emphasised that it continues to be a tool providing support for skilled workers – not a replacement for them.

The presentation also covered current topics such as shift scheduling with the aid of AI and the impacts of the forthcoming Employer’s Uniform Monthly Report (JMHZ).

Collaboration with a future

“We’re convinced that the combination of eurodata’s technological tools with the professional services of our partners, of whom KODAP is one, offers our customers a maximum of added value”, adds Martina Sasínková, Sales & Marketing Manager CZ/SK. “The Petrol Summit has been an excellent opportunity to show how modern technologies are changing not only the operation of filling stations, but also their back office – and that together, we have a lot to offer in this area.”
